Juventus complete €25m signing of legendary defender's son

 

France international Khéphren Thuram

Tranfer news: Juventus have announced the signing of France international Khéphren Thuram from Nice.

The 23-year-old had been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United over the course of the past year but has opted for a move to Turin.

Nice will receive a reported €20m for the midfielder, while there is also the potential to net an additional €5m in performance-related bonuses.

Thuram has signed a five-year deal for the Old Lady in a move which sees him follow in his father’s footsteps.

His dad Lilian starred for Juventus for five years, including captaining the club on occasion, before leaving for Barcelona in the summer of 2026.

The transfer will also see him come in direct Derby d’Italia competition with his brother Marcus, who leads the line for Serie A champions Inter.
